B.PUBLIC HEARINGS:
1.

Ordinance: 504 South 900 East Zoning Map Amendment and Master Plan Amendment
The Council will continue to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance amending the zoning of property located at 504 South 900 East Street and amending the Central Community Master Plan Future Land Use Map. The proposal would rezone the property from Moderate Density Multi-Family Residential District (RMF-35) to Residential/Mixed Use (RMU-35) and a Master Plan Amendment from Medium Density Residential to Medium Residential/Mixed Use. The intent of the proposal is to build a mixed-use development. No site plan has been submitted at this time. Although the applicant has requested that the property be rezoned to Residential/Mixed Use (RMU-35), consideration may be given to rezoning the property to another zoning district with similar characteristics. Petition Nos.: PLNPCM2018-00839 and PLNPCM2018-00898

Ordinance: Temporary Closure of a Portion of 2100 South between approximately SR-201 and 7200 West
The Council will accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance that would authorize temporarily closing a portion of 2100 South Street between approximately SR-201 and 7200 West Street. Modified access to area businesses will be maintained during the closure. The reason for the temporary closure is repeated illegally dumped tires and other debris in the area. Sensitive wetlands in the area have also been degraded by the illegal activity. The temporary closure would allow municipal and community organizations to draft plans for enforcement and clean up for the area.
